Riverbend Players Stage “Love, Loss & What I Wore”

Riverbend Players present Readers Theater, two one-act plays. The production is an intimate collection of stories, “Love, Loss, & What I Wore,” a play written by Nora and Delia Ephron based on the 1995 book of the same name by Ilene Beckerman. It is organized as a series of monologues and uses a rotating cast of five principal womenMusic provided by Sedona Fire Duo. Admission $10 (adult content). Production opens Friday, September 2 at 7 pm and has select showings through Sunday, September 11 at North County Recreation District’s brand new Performing Arts Center. Dan Haag
Born and raised in the great white north of Minnesota, Dan Haag felt the pull of the north Oregon Coast in the early 90s. Finding that rain never needed to be shoveled, he married an Oregon girl and settled in Manzanita, where he works as director of the Manzanita Visitors Center. He is also a freelance writer whose work has appeared in a variety of state and national publications. He spends his free time wandering the area’s many trails, supporting the Oregon wine and beer industry, perusing coastal bookstores, and chasing his black Labrador, Lilo, along the beach.
