No Place For Racism

Travel is one of the great equalizers. It brings people of all backgrounds and beliefs closer together through shared experiences and adventures in a way that few things can. At the Manzanita Visitors Center, we are honored to be ambassadors to our little corner of the Oregon Coast. We consider it a privilege that we have welcomed people from every state in the country and from nearly 100 countries around the world. Sharing smiles and stories with them has broadened and enhanced our understanding of the world in which we live and given us hope for the future. Racism, hate, and exclusion have no place here. There is no room for them in our community or in our hearts. Our job as ambassadors is to foster love and compassion through the act of travel. We do that by opening our hearts to diverse groups of visitors and making them feel at home. When travelers walk through the doors of the Visitors Center, they become treasured guests in our home and we will do everything we can to make them feel welcome, comfortable, and safe.
