It’s hard to believe, but Christmas is right around the corner! Over the last few years, we’ve enjoyed hosting Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Manzanita Visitors Center and having happy kiddos visit with them. But we’ve had to make some changes to Santa’s visiting schedule this year.
Because of Covid-19, Santa and Mrs. Claus can’t make any advance visits before Christmas arrives in Manzanita. But Santa is still hard at work at the North Pole and he wants to hear all of your gift requests. To keep the spirit of the holiday season bright, Santa and the Manzanita Visitors Center have teamed up to bring our local kids “Letters to Santa.”
If you’ve been extra good this year and know what you’d like to find under the Christmas tree, write Santa a letter telling him what it is, why you love Christmas and what you’re looking forward to in 2021. We’ll zip those letters right off to the North Pole via our patented reindeer express. He’ll read them on videos recorded at his workshop and give you updates on how toy-making is going this year. We’ll post the videos on our Facebook page so everyone can enjoy!
So don’t wait, get out your pen and paper and start making a list so Santa can check it twice. Send us your letters to firstname.lastname@example.org by December 10 and put “Letters to Santa” in the email subject line. If you’d prefer to send a handwritten letter, mail to PO Box 851, Manzanita, OR 97130. Address the envelope “Letters to Santa c/o Manzanita Visitors Center.”
And most importantly, don’t forget to leave out cookies and milk for the big guy!
