Hi! My name is Debbie Harmon. I am an artist who lives in beautiful Manzanita on the Oregon coast. I have been living, painting, and gardening here for a long time. In March of 2015 I opened a gallery so that I could share the things that my friends and family do with all of you.Amanita Gallery showcases fine art, as well as repurposed furniture and vintage items celebrating creativity and nature.
This is where magic begins! If you want to touch the soul of the Oregon Coast, start here.
Three hundred feet above the waves on the ocean edge of Neahkahnie Mountain, thirty feet above the ground, surrounded by giant Sitka spruce and Douglas fir. Well out of tsunami zone. Look out through the trees, both south and west to the ocean. Look up from the sleeping loft through a huge skylight past the branches to the night stars.
This is a place to leave the city and urban culture behind – a TV-free zone (video/DVD/wi-fi available). A retreat into the world where the rest of nature speaks loudly. Where eagles circle and sing. You can touch true peace and magic here.
Built by hand, with love, twenty years ago. Rock off of the mountain, cedar from the river. The loft and ceiling are redwood. It is a nest out of which books, articles, and visions of the world we are moving into have hatched and taken wing.
The beach is a fifteen minute walk down the road, and a nice aerobic walk back up. A short drive to Oswald West State Park, the trail up Neahkahnie Mountain, the town of Manzanita, or Nehalem Bay State Park.
The Nest is a place to begin a new journey, to refresh your soul, to find new depth, new growth; to choose new futures within yourself.

Based between the Cascade Mountains and the Pacific Ocean in Oregon, Broken Banjo Photography is available just about anywhere that wheels or wings will go.
Broken Banjo focuses on conference/event photography, portraiture, headshots, and general imagery.
The name, “Broken Banjo Photography” comes from a passage in Pete Seeger’s biography; when jumping out of a moving train, he broke his fall with his banjo. The banjo didn’t fare well, and was one of only two items of value the troubadour had. The other item was a camera, which he pawned to buy another instrument. After two days playing his new instrument in bars and on the street, he made enough money to buy his camera back, and was on his feet again.
There’s probably a metaphor in there somewhere

The culture, the outdoor adventure, and the people here are multifaceted and dynamic! I love the Oregon coast; especially my little area along the Northern Coastline, and I love my job as a Realtor. These two passions along with my knowledge of the local real estate market, my skills in connecting people with the right home, and my education (Masters in Counseling) combine to provide the best possible experience for both buyers and sellers.
I endeavor to make your experience stress-free, positive, and successful. I’m guided by what you find important, purposefully drawing on my listening and communication skills, and my attention to detail. I believe in taking the time to develop honest, respectful relationships with my clients, and hope they too discover the love of being here.
Over the Moon Clients:
“Darcey is the consummate professional. Her knowledge of the local market, brokers, lenders and the local culture is superior to anyone I have worked with since I bought my first home in 1968. And perhaps most importantly she has a unique characteristic of always considering the ethics of her work and her interaction with her clients. And finally, after the closing, she is just as diligent in responding to clients needs. She is an exceptional professional as well as a great representative for her community in Manzanita, OR.” – Jeremy S.
“Should you, seller or buyer, want a realtor that is intelligent, knows the market, loyal and honor bound, then Darcey Kline is your one stop answer. We purchased our second home through her, and due to a life style change recently sold this home through her. I have been purchasing and selling property for fifty years and have never had the outstanding relationship between client (especially out-of-State like me) and realtor that we have experienced with Darcey. Without exception after you develop a working relationship, this professional realtor will be a choice you never regret.” – Dan and Terry
“When we first met Darcey, we found her to be straightforward and genuine, so we decided to work with her in our search for the perfect dream home. She has been consistent and responsive throughout our sporadic and sometimes frazzled inquiries into specific Oregon coast listings, and has always been quick to answer questions and offer advice. She is well versed in the real estate market, and as we delved into the surrounding areas and met other professionals along the northern coast, it became obvious that Darcey is well known and respected by her peers. I would recommend her to ANYONE looking for help in the real estate market as a seller or buyer, due to her integrity and experience. It’s exceptional to find a realtor who sincerely wants her clients to find the perfect home, rather than one who seems focused primarily on commission. We will refer friends and family who decide to follow us to the North Oregon coast directly to Darcey Kline” – Elizabeth R.
Looking for that perfect beach house get away at the coast? Or perhaps you’re ready to settle down at the coast, possibly in your first home? Or maybe you have decided to invest in rental properties? You have come to the right place. Dave knows the area, knows the houses, and know the importance of finding that perfect home for you, your family, and even your four-legged loved ones. Dave brings 26 years of sales and marketing experience and is a skilled negotiator who delivers excellent client service.
He grew up in Ohio going to University of Toledo in order to get his BBA in accounting, and then to Western Michigan University for his MBA, but is happy to finally landed here, on the north Oregon coast.
Dave worked in academic publishing and library information management industries for years making information available to wide audiences for decision making. During this time, he traveled the country extensively and lived in multiple cities, eventually stumbling across Oregon. He fell in love. Thirteen years ago he left San Francisco for the Pacific Northwest drawn by the beauty, clean beaches, outdoor adventures, and the relaxed spirit.
The most important lesson Dave learned while traveling and relocating is that there is no place like a real home. Home is where we connect with friends, family, and community. Home is a sanctuary, allowing us to rejuvenate, grow, thrive, and celebrate life. And he’s found all that right here, in his remodeled 1960 beach cottage, two blocks from the ocean in a peaceful Manzanita neighborhood. He and his two Yorkshire terriers, Oscar and Alfred, are surrounded by a passionate, diverse coastal community. Let him help you find your piece of paradise at the Oregon coast.
