Nestled in the protective shadow of Neahkahnie Mountain, Manzanita is the perfect year round beach vacation. Experience the best of what we have to offer: fishing on the Nehalem River, camping at Nehalem Bay State Park, wine tasting, shopping at quaint boutiques, and sampling a variety of fine and casual dining options. You can also get a massage at a local spa and lose the cares of the long work week.
Weekends often mean live music at local venues or cultural events at the Hoffman Center, including art classes, lectures, and film presentations. The town is blessed with an abundance of artisans in all mediums, and galleries and studios beckon art-lovers. There are plenty of lodging options to choose from, whether for a family of four or an intimate getaway just for two. Get up early for a long walk on the beach and breathe in the clean ocean air or hibernate over a glass of wine and a book and enjoy a front row seat for a perfect sunset. Don’t forget to bring your four-legged friend! With tantalizing stretches of beach, miles of surrounding trails, and several pet-friendly accommodations, Manzanita is a dog-lover’s destination.
Just 90 minutes from Portland, Manzanita has just what you’re looking for every day of the year: a chance to discover your definition of relaxation and rejuvenation.
